ABOUT

The great range of prepainted steel options available from KiwiColour come to you from Kiwi Steel. Established in 1989 to meet the market’s need for a steel trading and merchant company that could provide superior customer service with top quality products, Kiwi Steel started by importing high quality steel that’s manufactured from Iron Ore (that’s the form of steel the rest of the world uses). It’s a more pure form of Iron, that’s more cost efficient to produce with a more consistent finish, with more exact thickness tolerances for more consistent performance. That’s steel that offers exceptional performance, looks great and lasts.

Kiwi Steel’s core activity in New Zealand is the supply of product to manufacturers of household appliances, civil engineering constructors, and the building industry. Owned and operated by skilled steel industry professionals, the company has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that is second to none.

ABOUT

Colorsteel Maxx pre painted steel has been developed for use in very severe environments and is now available in 18 designer colours.

The Colorsteel Maxx paint system consists of an AZ200 Zincalume steel substrate to which a superior polyester pre painted finish system is applied.  The system is designed to provide protection against corrosion in areas where severe to very severe environmental conditions are experienced.  The Colorsteel Maxx paint system will exceed the service life of most traditional paint systems.

COMPOSITION

Colorsteel Maxx pre painted steel substrate is a steel strip, commonly 0.40mm or 0.55 thick and coated with a 45% zinc, 55% aluminium alloy to a nominal coating mass 200g/m2 manufactured in accordance to regulations.  A range of thicknesses, widths and strengths are available.  Following pretreatment, a corrosion invibitive primer and top coat  is applied to the outer surface and a corrosion inhibitive primer and a backer to the reverse side.  These coatings are oven cured to provide colour and corrosion performance.

When building in coastal regions, product selection is very important as the salt laden air will increase the corrosion of many materials.  The building designer should try and minimise areas that are not regularly washed by rain, such as unlined verandas by installing a soffit.  This will help to reduce the maintenance requirements.

What Our Clients Say!

I have no hesitation in recommending Complete Roofing Solutions

Our house needed re-roofing as the original iron roof had deteriorated and looked terrible. Rotted timbers, gutters and insulation was replaced. Great colour options and the roof now looks amazing. The work was carried out efficiently and for a very competitive price. I have no hesitation in recommending Complete Roofing Solutions.

Sue

The timelines they suggested were the fastest

This being my first roof replacement, I requested 3 quotes from what appeared to be the top roofing companies in Auckland. CRS’s quote was not only the most competitive, the timelines they suggested were the fastest.

They were polite to my tenants and even organised painters to tidy up the areas around the roof and under the gutters that were replaced as this was the best time to do this. There were no hidden costs and all the work was completed to the time lines they suggested.

Have already referred them to my neighbours.

Alex

Absolutely amazing job!

James & his team did an absolutely amazing job! They made the process so easy, were great to deal with & we were blown away with the quality of work. Aside from beating nearly every quote we got, they completed the work in record time (even making great friends with our over enthusiastic dog on site) and kept our home safe & clean. 5/5 for these guys!

Justin

Highly Recommend

James, Leevon and the crew did an amazing job on my deck roofing. Highly recommend these guys, they are efficient, professional and produce high quality finishes.
